If your company is based in an EU/EFTA state and you intend to post employees for cross-border service provision during the Fair, or if you are an independent service provider, you must submit an online notification at least 8 days before the start of the activity.

This also applies to assembly and disassembly work, which must be notified by the company performing the work, whether it is the exhibitor itself or a company commissioned by them (in this case, the company in question will be responsible for completing the notification). The Management of the Swiss International Holiday Exhibition cannot undertake this notification on behalf of the foreign employer or independent service provider present at the Fair and disclaims responsibility for the information entered by the exhibitor.

For the customs clearance of trade goods, it is necessary to observe the opening hours of the customs offices. Customs declarations can be made from Monday to Friday during the imposition hours. Some customs offices are also open on Saturday mornings.

Cross-border traffic of trade goods includes the import, export, and transit of all goods intended for use in businesses, including one’s own companies or restaurants. Trade goods traffic also refers to the transport of goods across the customs border on behalf of a private individual or a company. The same applies to all service provisions considered supplies under a contract.

The WiFi service is active throughout the perimeter of the Exhibition Center. The WiFi service is provided by the city of Lugano and not by Promax Communication SA
